The CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSEWSO), a self-funded and autonomous registered society under the Society Act was initiated by our secretary, Mr Suresh Chandra Sharma to enable students studying in the CBSE Syllabus to participate in the National School Games.

During his Nationwide travel and survey, he observed that a lot of talented Athletes who were studying in the CBSE syllabus were deprived of an opportunity to participate in the National School Games, so, this organization, CBSEWSO was formed, in the interest & welfare of such students,  to give each eligible Athlete an opportunity to compete in the highest National and International Level Events.

CBSEWSO is an independent affiliated UNIT of the School Games Federation of India, and it has no relation or transactions with Central Board Secondary Education body.

Any student Athlete who is eligible and talented can register to the CBSEWSO irrespective of any state they may be studying in.

These registered athletes can participate in the annual zonal, regional, national games and specific selections trials conducted by CBSEWSO, so as to make themselves eligible to participate in the National School Games and International Competitions which are recommended or recognised or partnered or organized by CBSEWSO

Student studying in the CBSE syllabus and Studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), DAV, Vidya Bharti, IPSC, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), MEG/Services, etc board schools, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE in the National School Games as a CBSEWSO athlete, since these boards have their respective national games and national selections.

The registered international students can participate in all other National AND International Competitions which are recommended or recognised or partnered or organized by CBSEWSO
